Graduate Credit Requirements
2008-2009 NDCLP – Participant Credit
(2 credits)
1. Time Log – Each participant must complete a minimum of 30 hours.
At least 10 hours of this log must be face-to-face time within the Collegial
Learning Group.
2. Completed Unit Plan –A plan template is provided on the NDCLP website and is structured utilizing the Understanding by Design model.
3. Administrator Evaluation – Building-level administrator must review and submit an evaluation of the unit plan.
4. Evidence of Implementation – Each participant must submit a minimum of three (3) student artifacts as evidence of implementation. Artifacts may include digital photographs, student projects, etc.
5. Administrator Evaluation – Building-level administrator must observe and submit an evaluation of the implementation.
6. Reflection Paper – Each participant must
submit a minimum of one-page reflection paper on the planning and implementation
strategies and lessons learned.
2008-2009 NDCLP – Facilitation and
Administration Credit
* Please note, this is a stand-alone credit. You are not required to register
for the Participant Credit to be eligible for the Facilitation and Administration
Credit.
1. Workshop Requirements – Each facilitator and building administrator must attend at least one of the fall training workshops and one of the spring sharing workshops. Fall Workshop date: October 13, 2008; Spring Workshop date: April 22, 2009.
2. Facilitator Responsibilities:
a. Complete Group Meeting Log
b. Complete Group Roster and Attendance
c. Submit Group Action Plan
d. Participate in active correspondence with all NDCLP project team members
e. Complete incremental Context, Content, and Process Rubrics (3 times per year)
3. Administrator Responsibilities:
a. Participate in active correspondence with all NDCLP project team members
b. Assist with incremental Context, Content, and Process Rubrics (3 times per year)
c. Complete Unit Plan Evaluation Rubric for all participants
d. Complete a Unit Plan Implementation Rubric for all participants taking the NDCLP for credit
4. Project Evaluation – Each participant must
submit a project evaluation to the NDCLP Project Instructor. It will be
the responsibility of the facilitator and/or administrator to make sure
each member of their group completes the evaluation.
